another concept sketch I wish I drew BEFORE some scenes happened in Hellion lmao at least this will come in handy for future scenes.

I used to focus so much on drawing out environments, floor plans, town maps, etc, for older comics. Those eventually went on hiatus permanently and I felt like I over saturated my ideas by putting so much work into conceptual details especially for things you'd never actually see in the comic or some things that weren't exactly?? important??? (like come on, drawing out a whole town map and exact floorplans for four story buildings for ONE SCENE can be A LITTLE overkill)

Because of that, I decided to just GO FOR IT with Hellion and try not to plan out every little detail. I'm happy for that bc I feel a little more relaxed and my thoughts are way less convoluted but I do kinda regret having fewer concept sketches to work with bc honestly it makes it so easy in the long run when I need to know what the front of a house looks like for a bg x(

Still learning that it's ok to work out conceptual things.... in moderation. Just don't go NUTS with it.

Anyway, sorry for the Not Porn. The next few pages of Hellion are gonna have lots of environment so I've been working on boring concept work > >;;;
