I guess that one way to distract from one's own sudden and supposedly unintentional nudity would be to make sure everybody else at the resort ended up that way, too. By extension, that might also apply to various forms of lewd and indecent behavior, and I can totally see those two deciding to take a proactive and preemptive approach. And thus a simple wardrobe malfunction triggers events that become the stuff of legends.
