Reminder To Anyone Using The Patreon App On An Apple Device: Don't Make Purchases On The App

If you subscribe or purchase a shop item using the Patreon app from the Apple app store, Apple's 30% app store fee will now be included. I do not see that money and all you have to do to avoid paying 30% more is to go through a web browser. That is a little tedious if you're an app user, but you only have to do it when handling the subscription and purchasing side of things. As long as you are a patron, you can view the content however you want, including in the app if that's your cup of tea.
This isn't just for my Patreon, but every Patreon. If you do not see an increase in the cost, that is not because that Patreon managed to dodge the fee. That is that creator eating the 30% themselves.
