Unit Profile:  Gallian APC (Refurbished)

Acquired in bulk before the beginning of EW2 and through reclamation during the war, this older model variant of the Imperial Srk.Fz.144 is considered one of the most commonly seen troop transport vehicles throughout the second war in Europa.  A popular model among all factions, this vehicle was produced in record numbers in EW1, only to be purged onto the market by the Empire to recoup costs for the more advanced Srk.Fz.291 prior to the outbreak of EW2.  A workhorse built around the principles of all-terrain transport and security in both rural and urban theaters, this Armored Personnel Carrier sports reinforced ragnasteel plating designed to defeat small and medium arms fire.  Known for it's reliability under duress, the Srk-Model transport line has a number of turret attachments, from heavy machineguns to flame units designed for anti-personnel suppression, but is most commonly seen with light machineguns for their versatility and staying power in long theater engagements.

Commonly used in Gallian regular infantry units, but rarely assigned to Gallian militia detachments, this vehicle boasts an impressive top speed for it's size and weight, ferrying reinforcements to and from combat zones with surprising fuel-to-distance ratios, allowing for farther, faster travel at lower cost.  The Gallian refit of the Srk.Fz.144 has replaced it's original Imperial engine with a modernized D2Z "Mastiff" engine developed by Gallia Heavy Industries, which utilizes advanced ragnite injection systems and capacitor spools to increase the staying time while reducing energy emission loss due to overproduction, resulting in an increased fuel efficiency ratio that served the Gallian focus well in the early days of the invasion as raw Ragnite supplies were slowly depleted.

As a final note, the vehicle is famous for its presence and use during what is now called the Midsummer's Night Incident, the notes of which can be found in Section 18, Page 132.
