From the first mention of the 'Early Retirement' program, I think on Monarch, was there ever any doubt what was going on in the lower bowels of Byzantium? That didn't stop me from laughing my ass off when the doors opened and a few cleaning automechanicals were hosing down dead bodies. Because I'm a spineless, eternal servant to doing the right thing, I didn't send the evil quest giver down to see what was up upon my return, but I'm hoping at least one of you did so I can at least enjoy her demise vicariously.

when i met Ellie’s Parents my gun accidentally shot them in the head multiple times. i had to reload so i could finish Ellie’s quest but damn those people are dickheads.

I rarely laugh out loud at a game, but the “dumb” ending genuinely made me giggle because it was so unexpected. I’m really happy that the developers decided to throw in this completely useless ending for those of us who had stuck with the “dumb” trait the whole game.

I love that Outer Worlds allows you to work through its missions in multiple ways (stealth, combat, dialogue, skill checks, etc.). Unfortunately, this falls apart in the end sequence as you make your way through Tartarus. Although the identity cloaking mechanic is seemingly presented as an option, your cover is immediately blown as the different factions you’ve sided with storm each section of the mission and engage in combat. How did you feel about this sequence? Did you appreciate the gameplay impact of your faction choices in the lead-up to the end, or would you have preferred that the game continue to allow for alternate approaches in this sequence?

P.S. No offense to Suriel. His proclivity for snacking on and sharing his opinion of cereal is in no way an indictment on his greater moral character.

Greetings to MINN Hanson and the MAX Weinberg 7, (Did I do it? Is that the worst one ever?) I 'd like to share with you all the lesson I took away from this game based entirely on the "dumb" dialogue options. While reading another persons post about how they chose the "dumb" dialogue option when siding with Phineas, the option detailed their love for ice cream and this was reflected in their end game slide show. At the end of my "corporations are never wrong" playthrough I also picked the dumb dialogue option and proclaimed my love for purpleberry crunch cereal to Adjutant Akande. Good to know I did all those horrible things for such a good reason. So my take away is that ice cream is the favorite food of the benevolent working man idiot while cereal is the preferred treat of the corporate loving moron. Am I taking the right message away from this game? Did I choose just the dumb dialogue option in real life? Jeremiah Marshall Austin, TX

I'm behind so not reading any of the other comments lol BUT in terms of parts of the game that I wasn't expecting - I decided to lie to Crane and tell him I didn't find the stuff so I could sell it to Gladys. He said how his career was finished etc, I did a glhf to him and left. Then heard the gunshot. I went back in and saw him dead and legit felt bad for a moment. I got over it and looted him, but I never expected to see that quick of a chain reaction because you don't know what your choice led to til later in most other games. Thanks for the show, guys!

Hoping that this isn't considered a spoiler, but would love to know if anyone has seen the "dumb" ending (ending that I believe is only possible if you select the lowest intelligence at the beginning of the game. Personally, I thought it was hilarious and the best implementation of a "dumb" character that I've seen in this genre.

Off the game itself, I would love if you guys keep Deepest Dive going regularly. Game Clubs at GI were awesome but spread so far apart. It would be great to have the community and you guys always playing and discussing something together.

How long did it take you guys to beat the game? With doing all of the side content that I found I hit 37 hours by the end and it felt like plenty. The last thing I want for a sequel is for it to be bloated out to 100 hours, I love a shortish rpg experience every once in a while. Bonus question: What level did you finish at? Even doing all the side content I could find I only hit 30 a couple hours before the ending so it oaced out well for me.

Hi guys, I love how varied the builds are in this game, I very rarely shot anything depending almost entirely on my companions and dialogue options. (Side note: I had over 10,000 bullets between the 3 types when credits rolled). But the inspiration tree feels essential to get to at least 60 for any build in my opinion as it doubles the already significant stat boosts you get from companions. I only had my hacking at 27, but with a combination of clothes and companions I could easily hit 100 because of this bonus and the double clothing stats perk. What are some of your favorite abilities and perks?

Hello Maxers, Jonah from DC here. I enjoyed the ending to the game, but one moment in particular had a lot of narrative dissonance for me. I took the Board-supporting route, and as part of that, Adjutant Akande asked me to activate a bunch of killer robots that would wipe out the dissidents on Edgewater. Parvati was in my party at the time, and she pleaded with me not to go through with it, begging me not to force her to choose between her captain and her home. Nevertheless, I decided to wipe out Edgewater...and Parvati never reacted to it. I even kept her in my party as we walked through the blood-soaked remains of Edgewater, mopping up the last remnants of the robots. She didn’t say anything negative then, nor for the rest of the game. I found this disappointing, as I thought it was out of character for her not to speak up. Did any of you guys experience something like this?

Hey homeslices. As much as I enjoyed this game it doesnt seem to have had any staying power with me after finishing it. I know it was a small budget game but the game felt small for a game about traveling to other worlds. This hit me the most at the end of the game when finishing the prison level. I honestly thought I was about 2/3rds of the way through the game and then it just ended. We didnt even get to explore all the places on the map. Did you guys feel the game ended a bit abruptly or is it just me?
