I think a lot of people miss the point that no side is in the right. If you're a non-eldian then it makes sense that Eldians are seen as a threat, yet the racism is still wrong, but it makes sense they're feared and thus hated because of what titans did and how Fritz used the power of Ymir to start all of this. If you're an Eldian it's also unfair that the world hates you and wants your people extinct because the threat you pose and history. There are also good and bad people on both sides. There's also the problem of Eren also killing fellow Eldians that are not on the Island. Genocide is wrong, no discussion. I understand why some people see themselves and their loved ones and go " yeah, I'd do the same because I'm not picking the world over my loved ones." It all depends on perspective. Plus Eren was wiping out whole ecosystems, animals, plants, etc. so I imagine that should've caused problems. At the end of the day, war is horrible and only causes suffering for everyone, especially the innocent. We all suffer from the people in power who have power to control our lives. We are stuck in this cycle.

Ppl supporting genocide in the comments make me lose my belief in humanity. "They started first" I'm pretty sure millions of babies who don't even know how to walk didn't attack the Eldians, or other oppressed minorities over the world didn't cause Eldias downfall when they didn't even have the power to defend themselves. Millions of civilians just wanted to provide for their families and didn't align with marleys ways. But sure yeah kill them so powerhouses who also caused their suffering

absolutely stupid. i can assure you both of them would in an instand let the world die if their family, friends and countrymen would be in line for an extermination. Its like saying the jews would be wrong th prevent germany in 1941 from trying to kill them. And yes innocet people died and tha is wrong and bad, but that blood is on marleys hand not erens, since they forced him to do that. I mean they sit confy on the couch and critice that people who have seen friends and family been slaughtered and eaten for generations are not willing to die to save the world that literally declared war on them and planned to exterminate them. Hanges stupid "but genocide is wrong" is so endlessly stupid since its a fact that 1 genocide will happen anyways either on paradis or the world only diffrence is that the world is guilty while paradis isnt. She was willing to let the children of the people she swore to protect be enslaved / killed only to have clean conscious. But yea easy for the reactors to sit on their couch and say "that you guys dont die for the people who killed your familys for generations is very very bad. What a joke^^
