Sex and body positive healing through sensuality

Happy thanksgiving 🍁 I’ve never celebrated being an Aussie living everywhere but America but I want you all to know I’m grateful for you all.

Today I had to move and get out of my head. Starting the creation process for new dances on 20 tier (clothed), 100 tier and 250 tier (naked)

In a world that does not consider my body to be mind self pleasure is an act of self preservation when I am feeling disconnected I connect with my centre touch by touch I drop back into myself....

Wanted to give you a snippet of the dance I’ve been working on this morning.

I have also been journaling with Rupi Kaur and came across this beautiful sex positive poem from home body.

I feel a little shy sharing words like this because it’s so powerful in its essence of intimacy with sensuality. I love when people speak their feels and this is helping me heal doing these writing exercises and dancing within my own sensuality.

My body is so hot from wanting you.
I’m spilling by the time we take our clothes off
I want the kind of love that
Transcends me
into another’s realm
I want you so deep
We enter the spirit world
Go from being gentle to rough
I want eye contact
Spread my legs to
Opposite ends of the room
And look with your fingers
I want my soul to be touched
by the tip of yours

When I dance I feel all these words- my body comes alive and not only in this poem but in my own mind and soul and my day is brighter.

That’s the power of sensuality to bring the possibilities within our minds to make us feel alive again. Then connect that to sexuality when the blessing arrives and that is where the bounds of real pleasure and heart magic occurs.

In an adult world we forget the magic isn’t sex the magic is the sensuality you bring to sex or any part of life that make the true never ending forgettable experiences from every day drinking coffee, feeling joy again after feeling depression or grief or the act of love with someone you feel home with.

As a human our pleasures are not always prioritized by ourselves or others which is why it is empowering to write sex positive poems or dance. They help you cement the fact that our bodies are not just for pleasuring others. We deserve pleasure too and can create it on our own.
