Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Episode 10 came out on May 5th. :) ...thanks for being a lurker haha

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I feel like the episodes honestly get more and more interesting and I just personally love it. Courtney is my favorite (Nini's best friend) and I feel like she might be on the Ace spectrum personally which i absolutely love. If she is then we need more reputation like her where they dont make her seem broken and is normal just not interested and cares about other things that are more important to her. Any idea when you'll watch EP 10 of Season 1? I do hope you continue to watch Season 2 and 3 as well! But love your content. I have been a secret lurker of your youtube videos for a while watching your reactions to songs and stuff :) keep up the good work!

I actually feel for Ricky in this one. Like from the perspective of being in a show, you gotta learn to tune that stuff out. Follow the whole "the show must go on", however we have to remember this is his FIRST ever performance. I haven't done any shows, just took a few drama classes in school so maybe I'm wrong here but I feel like nobody will be perfect at blocking things out in their first show (maybe even their first few). Especially a situation like this. He still wasn't even over the fact his parents split, then knowing she has a new boyfriend. Like I'm sure if Ricky had seen them together outside the show he probably still would have freaked out if he wasn't expecting the new boyfriend to be there, it just sucks more it happened during the show while he was in the air. I think the mother went about this all wrong. She should have introduced them BEFORE the show and told Ricky he was going to the show. While his reaction was unprofessional, no school production is professional. Especially in high school. We can't expect them to be perfect, and I don't think its fair to judge him for getting a huge shock.

I hope you continue watching Season 2 & 3. I personally think the end of season 3 will blow your mind. This is also my favor episode from Season 1. I love all the original songs that the show produces, the covers are okay (some better than others)

Kyra Denise Alston

Yea it seems like him and his mom are absent of how to deal with their feelings or being aware of the feelings of others around them

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

oh really! Wow! It was beautiful

I hope Nini moves on to the music school. That would be great for her!... and oh I hope we get waaay more Courtney and Gina next season

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Man Ricky is so pure! He definitely is my favorite of the guys

Manfred

Gina is also my favorite character. Also didn't expect that, but Sofia Wylie plays her so well and has shown us so many facets to a character who was presented in such a strong way in the beginning that I found it off-putting at first and then she slowly made shifts and now I love how she's grown. I didn't realize how much I liked her until we didn't get her in the last episode. I think that it's a natural and probably the best outcome for now that Ricky and Nini get a second chance. Miscommunication and assumptions along with true feelings unexpressed led them to have an abrupt and unexpected ending the first time, so I think that it's a necessary step for them to take so that they can have an answer about whether these new versions of themselves work together otherwise I think they'll wonder what could have been. Personally, I don't see it working, but we shall see. Ricky clearly still has a lot of learning and growing to do and it makes sense that he would be defaulting to going back to Nini because he's just looking for stability and comfort and he sees that with Nini while everything else in his life is getting tossed around. While Gina is my favorite character overall, EJ is definitely my favorite of the guys. He is a total team player, but also a leader, stepping up when and wherever he's needed. They keep trying to insert doubt about his commitment to the show because he's distracted texting, but him being a good support while playing Chad and stepping up speaks more to me than the texting. This season went by so fast...I wish the episodes were longer

Gemma Rivera

Oh the song Just for A Moment was actually written by Olivia and Joshua. It's one of my favs from the season even though I'm not a Rini shipper.

Mia

Yeah I didn't like that Ricky stopped either. Like, yeah, I get it, but you gotta deal and keep going. Granted, he's never been in a show before and hasn't had "the show must go on" drilled into his head, but you gotta tune everything else out and do the thing. Having said that, I think it was really dumb of his mom to bring her boyfriend. A little warning would have been appropriate lol
