The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has a good HDR implementation providing a proper Peak HDR Brightness + Paper White controls/sliders.
If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
- Set HDR Intensity slider to: 3.000 (nits, Max);
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR Intensity slider to: 800 (nits) or 1.000 (for G2) or 1.500 (for G3).
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
- Set HDR Intensity slider to: 1.000 (nits, Max);
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR Intensity slider to the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits".
In all cases try setting Paper White slider to 200 nits as a balanced start, then increase/decrease it based on your personal preference.
