Should Eugen forgive Helga?

Helga's been a bad foxy and cheated on her boyfriend Eugen with some fox guy. Accidentally Eugen found that out and it hurt his feelings a lot. Later he expressed that to Helga and she came back to him with apologies. But did she really realize how much Eugen is hurt by her behaviour? Will this situation change her behaviour? Or is it another manipulation to get nice gifts from him?

Question for our esteemed artist. Does Helga have much capacity for empathy? I get the feeling she doesn't, but I don't read people well.

Emotional and bodily exclusiveness can be separate, and it sounds like Helga may be happier with more partners than less. There's room for compromise there, I think.

2022-09-29 12:02:25 +0000 UTCHehehe, as the fox who is probably the cause or all this drama I gotta say I am in full favor of Eugen and Helga getting back together. I figure that my fox probably didn't realize Helga was dating another and therefore pulled out all the stops to seduce her, like taking her on romantic nature walks and picnics. But once he learns that Eugen wanted her he's be fine with backing off so the two of them can be together. Heck, if he had a chance to talk to Eugen he'd probably say that its normal for people to date around if they are not ready to commit and Helga probably only had interest in my fox because he looked so similar to Eugen anyway (brown hair and green eyes), but Helga putting on this display shows that she wants to commit to Eugen, and that's a good thing. ^^ I'll probably not even commission any more Helga art anymore just so the two of them aren't separated again. :p

If Eugene does take her back, he needs to realize she is not someone he can trust and accept the relationship is a sort of quid pro quo, gifts in trade for sex. He should be on the lookout for someone with a better heart and be ready to dump Helga if he meets a keeper. She's not someone he can love.
