I was just coming to comment that David is actually Scottish and puts on his British accent. Good stuff

Don't know if Classic Who details count as spoilers so let me know and I'll delete if so but my favourite little detail in this episode is The Doctor using the name James McCrimmon which was the name of one of his companions when he was in his second incarnation

Looove this episode, and it’s so fun bc David got to use his natural accent (Scottish) at the beginning when they landed 🥹 I’m also from Scotland so I might be biased
“The correct form of address… is your majesty!” Okay diva!!!
“I’ll tell you what though.”
“What?”
“Werewolf. 👀”
“I knowwww! 👀”
I LOVE THEM!!!

To answer one question: it is true that Queen Victoria had a spontaneous genetic mutation that meant some of her descendants developed haemophilia (though none of the surviving ones).
And, no spoilers, but I think there's something you'll like in Ep3...
