Dark Night of the Umbreon (full comic!)

Pinky in “Hopeless Bleak Despair”

Here is a little comic for you, starring the lovely Pinky! The text is lifted from a They Might Be Giants song with the same title. The lyrics just described Pinky too perfectly so I had to put it in comic form. This piece is bigger than I normally draw comics, 14 by 17 inches, so I had room to experiment with the coloring. Magic the Gathering Tattoo Flash

So, I have challenged myself to make a flash portfolio to attempt to get an apprenticeship by the end of this year. The more I get tattooed, the more I love the art form and want to participate. Dark Magician Girl art for MaiMai

Some album art for MaiMai , and a few extra versions, this came out so cute, I used some of her art for the guys in the background and inspired the little fairy that accompanies the magician. Love the way this one turned out but seeing now the cute stars and hearts coming from the wand in the original sketch (last slide) I should have included those!

Dragon boy commission

Got about 5 more of these coming in the next few days. Next round I’ll give patrons first dibs ok! Here you can see how I put these together, from the rough sketch to the lines and color. Then I add a bg I make with Ai website “dream cafe” , prompt with something related to the character. “Colorblock dragon lair” was this one and it worked perfectly. These take around 5 hours. I would like to get faster.
