Announcements and Updates!

Hello everyone!

It’s a new month! So I think it’s high time for another round of updates and announcements! Don’t worry, nothing’s changing, I just want to make sure that we’re all on the same page as my number one goal has always been transparency and open communication! :D

First of all I want to make sure everyone knows that my primary focuses are of course: Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School and Humans Don’t Hibernate. I understand most of you are following me for these two series and I want to reemphasize the fact that I am fully committed and devoted to seeing these two stories through!

Secondly, update schedules! I plan to update my main series' weekly, and for the entirety of the previous month I’ve done so consistently on both Reddit and Patreon!

1. Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School: Weekly updates on Sundays

2. Humans Don’t Hibernate: Updates: Weekly updates on Tuesdays

I have to mention of course that my timezone is literally on the opposite side of the world from North America, and my studies/job as a medical student sometimes entails taking full day (24 hour shifts) during the weekends and also the weekdays, so there may be some discrepancies in terms of the time and date. However I’ll always try to aim for these release days, and I’ll always aim to get a chapter out per week!

Thirdly, where things are headed with Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School. I know I’ve mentioned this in the comments of the HFY Reddit posts before, but I want to make sure everyone here knows this as well: I’ve already mapped out the story from where we are now all the way through to where the first book will end. The major plot beats are also plotted out, so the course is clear for where we’re sailing! I plan to aim for internal consistency of narrative, plot, and characters all throughout so I can deliver you the best possible story I can!

Fourthly, the goal! We've hit the first patreon goal! I’m in the process of finding artists that are willing to first design these characters from the ground up, and then commissioning an artist to get all of them placed on a book cover with a cool background! I plan to do this right, so I’ll be updating you guys with the artwork as it comes along! I know artists can take varying amounts of time finishing art pieces, so these updates will be dependent on how long the artists I commission will take to finish their work!

And finally, because I didn’t want to bog you guys down with this, I decided to put this after the end of the important announcements.

I’ve been struggling to draft up and write this message for the past week or so now. I’ve been trying to find the words, but finding myself feeling as if anything I say won’t truly encapsulate how exactly I feel at this exact point in time. But given the fact that this is a new month, and I think we’re due for an announcement, I’ve committed to making sure I write this as well as I can for you guys.

I just wanted to say… Thank you. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart. What’s happening right now shouldn’t be possible, in fact a lot of times I wake up thinking that all of this is some extended fever or lucid dream or something. But it’s not. We’ve reached our first goal, and I just can’t express enough how awestruck I am at that fact.

When I started this Patreon I never thought we’d even reach half, let alone all of the first goal. Never in my wildest dreams would I even think this was possible. This is something that I thought was reserved for writers and artists who were actually good at their work, who wrote or created something that people thought were actually good. I don’t consider myself anywhere near the level a lot of these people, but that’s why I’ll always strive to do my best, so that one day I may reach that level. I’m always trying my best to improve, always trying my best to give everyone the best possible stories and ideas they deserve, and you guys deserve only the best!

So again, thank you. From the bottom of this one small writer on this great wide expanse that is the internet, thank you. You guys are actively making my dream a reality.

With the updates now done and over with... Let’s start this journey together, shall we? :D
