Flair asking HBK about the time is because they’ve both the same watch that Shawn bought them both after their Mania match

Steve hunt

That laugh at 3:08:07 from Ollie gets me every time

The Big boswell

So jusr subbed so im watching back all the episodes. As a mexican I really enjoyed the Zeb Colter stuff because I liked booing the heels calling my ethnicity out and I unironicly thought the signs, though racist were funny

soren

I don't get the cena hate. Like the man can wrestle.

Infinityquartz

I wish corporate kane was a thing again. But with the voice box and the Kane suit on the top half but with slacks instead of pants. But real like Kane is a little bit of a cunt these days

Isaac hansel

It’s crazy to me that Mysterio got such a backlash, once JBL entered all the remaining entrants were pre announced. I remember when I was watching it and I’m like well Mysterio is 30 and wasn’t surprised at all. Disappointed sure but people had just built this thing up in their heads

Andrew Stratton

Is there a way to set this into a play list? I would really like to have a playlist set up but understand if I am not allowed to with patreon content.

Mageside

Aw. Finally getting around to this, and Toby Keith lost his battle with stomach cancer yesterday. RIP

Brody Allsep

I don't think they want to make the show less enjoyable for listeners who aren't watching the video version.

Straightedge47

This is such a great idea and a great video. I would say, why not play more of the actual show since it's on video now and can really show the big moments. Seeing you guys react to the ridiculous stuff in the moment is the best.

Rich LeClaire III

I was hoping this would be a YouTube video

Shaun Pickles

Literally thought it was a bonus video for the 1st 2 and 1/2 mins. Not even gonna lie, I’ve been wanting you guys to do this in video format (terry funk voice) FOREVER. I’m SO fucking hyped for the next 3 and 1/2 hours of my Saturday night lol Edit: 1:47:00 pretty sure that would’ve been a reference to cm punk who, at least at this time, was famously saying “it’s clobberin time” on his way to the ring… Edit2: Luke; “if it was good strategy why doesn’t everyone do it” and this folks, is how you can tell Luke isn’t big on sports 😂😂😂 Edit 3: the true dichotomy of the undertaker and Kane escaped me until this podcast. Undertakers character was always true to itself. Even the American bad ass iteration was still “the undertaker” except now he talked and was a weird biker guy who chewed tobacco. Meanwhile Kane was easily manipulated whether by Paul bearer his brother the corporation chyna xpac torrie. The authority. The list goes on and on. Hold the fuckin phone I think wwe might’ve accidentally cooked… Edit 4: 3:11:25 now I think YOU GUYS just accidentally cooked. Now that I think about it, that might be the thing I hated the most about this era of wwe. The whole “by the way, this isn’t real. These are characters, see Stephanie is actually nice. And we have this little message at the start of the show reminding you that these are people ‘portraying characters’” I think that insulting of our collective intelligence is what actually turned the fans off to the product. Even now, just the other day at work I was talking to a guy about cm punk getting hurt at 2024 rr. He thought it was a work and when I said “no, no he’s actually hurt, torn triceps” he was like “do you think it’s real” and I got so pissed off I had to end the conversation and walk away… like dude I’m not fucking stupid… yes these are people portraying characters… can we fucking pretend? Please….

Richaffinito

Yeah I wish this was just a link to an unlisted YouTube video

Mark Mayhew

I signed up to patreon for this. The return of the alternate camera angles on the wrestletalk podcast. Thank you for giving the people what they want

Mark Mayhew

Hey guys, I don’t know if you read all of these but I just wanna say thank you so much for this episode. It came at the perfect time as this Thursday just gone was 3 years since my dad died and I needed something to cheer me up and it reminded me of how my dad always used to say, when I was watching wrestling in the evolution era and Flair had a match “what is that old guy doing? Surely he can’t be a wrestler, his tits are so saggy and it looks like he might have a heart attack at any moment” which made me really chuckle. Needless to say my dad wasn’t a huge fan of wrestling but he always watched with me…sort of…and always enjoyed mocking Flair which was very funny! So all in all thank you for this and all of your brilliant content I have loved every bit of it!

Charlie James

Great job on the format

Evan Reich

Because it was recorded the Monday before this will be the last podcast where anyone uses the line “there’s Vince the person and then there’s Vince the character”

Darren Lloyd

21:42 I hate hearing the WWE fans complain when they say guys like Balor, Gargano and such are being "treated good" by WWE because they win their props, but fail to recognize how poorly Vince treated their runs after their moment because Vince's ideology is so outdated it is pathetic more than it was laughable.

Mageside

I think there are a factor of reasons for the Reigns hate during the 2014-2020 era. 1)Roman was the one who retained ALL of the Shield branding, yet he was the one who cared the least about the breakup. 2) It was obvious they were priming him to be the next Cena and they hot shotted him into the main event. Shield breaks up on June 2nd on the Raw after Payback, by Money In the Bank on June 29th he’s in the main event fighting for the title. 3) They transitioned him from badass babyface to Suffering Succotash. 4) He was on top in an era where the product was just bad and it wasn’t what the people wanted. This was during the rise of the Indies and people wanted wrestlers who fit more of that mold like Punk, Bryan, Ambrose, etc. instead of the factory made WWE standard.

XO Jayla

Glad to see the videos became a thing 🔥

Joseph N Duarte

I love HHH. Evolution HHH was the best ⚒️

Sean Dunne

Love this format, I also like that they dive into the Raw episodes leading to the show. I remember at the time, I was a bit annoyed at the fans back then when they booed the ending, not only because I was, and still am, one of the biggest Mysterio fans, but also because the commentary team made a point about Bryan being (kayfabe) tested for a concussion, so I didn't expect him to be in the Rumble. But thinking about it, the crowd doesn't know that so yeah , I understand now. It could have been a good story if they showed Bryan in the doctor's room being checked so the crowd would know he probably won't be in the Rumble. Then Bryan would have tried to enter but the Authority would pull him from it, continuing the "they're holding me back" story

Kevin Fleuriot

I mean, here's the participants of the 2001 Rumble (in no particular order) and it reads like a Buncha Lads Rumble, but the presentation was anything but that. Jeff Hardy Matt Hardy Bull Buchanon Goodfather Val Venis Faarooq Bradshaw Perry Saturn Al Snow Raven Steve Blackman Albert Hardcore Holly Crash Holly K-Kwik (Forever Young R-Truth) Grand Master Sexay Scotty 2 Hotty Test Rikishi Haku Billy Gunn Tazz William Regal Honky-Tonk Man (Legend Return) Drew Carey (Comedy Spot) Undertaker Kane Big Show Stone Cold Steve Austin The Rock

Hasan Mahmood

Luke calls this a 'Buncha Lads Rumble', and it made me pause and pull up the 2001 Rumble, probably the best Rumble ever, and glance at the participants, and I am trying to wrap my brain around how vastly different the starpower was. On paper, the 2001 Rumble is also a 'Buncha Lads Rumble', but you wouldn't notice because how bloody OVER everyone is.

Hasan Mahmood

I'll never forget how much we hated John Cena, even if I appreciate him now. Or how much I hated Reigns. WWE can't gaslight me!

Lizard

I wish patreons video service was better cause it's not easy to pick back up from where you left off

Bdazzle

This was bloody brilliant! I can’t wait for the next one.

Tommy overkill

Luke at the two and a half hour mark talking about how 'Vince McMahon' and 'Mr. McMahon' are two different people that you would never confuse with each other rings harsher in hindsight.

Hasan Mahmood

That makes sense unfortunately

GoldenRK9

Love the video format everyone!! Was a bit apprehensive making a patreon but with these videos long form, im happy i did it

CCFoldz

Personally, I prefer listening to the audio version, but love the fact there is a video alternative. I recently started listening to these podcasts right from the beginning and I love these podcasts! Perfect way to unwind in the evening x

Tyler Russell

I would imagine they couldn’t because of the footage. Even unlisted, this would be an instant copyright strike.

Fist Doormamu is here for two things. Portal ARGs created by jacob, and Pizza Time. Us, our horse girls, and our members.

Is there anyway you could put these on YouTube like NRB does with their Patreon content? Not for free obviously but just so it can watched on the YouTube app. I like to download these and watch them offline, can’t do that on Patreon!

GoldenRK9

THANK YOU for finally making these in video format!!

Chad Knows Moore

This was recorded before The Rock at TKO, Vince Lawsuit, Punk injured, Brock Lesnar out of the company. Damn, anything else this week?

Diego Almuiña

A 4hr podcast. Man I’ve always wanted you guys to do a video format and now that you have, I can’t wait. I love you guys. Hopefully oli doesn’t leave again for 3 months

Aj

I'm at the 25 minute mark, and I can relate to you guys, as I was one of those guys trying to explain to all these comments wondering why the hate for Cena.

Hasan Mahmood

Excellent, let's frickin go!

Hasan Mahmood

Can't wait to watch this. Good work guys
