Light Work - Part 2
Added 2024-04-09 02:50:11 +0000 UTCAs obsessed with B&W as I am, I fall in love with Portra and its tones every time I shoot it. All of these photos are completely unedited except for the last image, which I darkened just slightly. I just absolutely love how rich and warm the colors are. I’m also clearly a fan of light and shadow play, and I was really pleased at how I was able to work around the lamp to light my body while creating intimate shadow play that also seemed to create a harmonic balance with the light. The last image is my favorite. I love the way the side of my body and curves are highlighted. And if you also look closely in the mirror, you can see my camera. The first four images were shot with my Pentax K1000 on Kodak Portra 400. The last image was shot with my Pentax LX on Kodak Portra 800. I’d love to know which image is your favorite.

2024-04-10 14:03:32 +0000 UTCI'm gonna have to go with the third image. The soft focus really encapsulates the warm tones with the portra and the shadows casted on your back are super lovely! Runner up defs has to be the last one; really love the greenery in the background :D
