Vines - bts & the process

A lot of times, I find myself tightly cropping my images in order to really focus on one aspect. In this shot, I really wanted to showcase the leaves and my curves as an expression of how nature and feminine energy intertwine. Which crop do you prefer and why? I actually don’t care for the image as a whole, but I love the cropped versions. Shot with my Pentax LX/43mm on Kodak Tri-X against my favorite self port bathroom wall. Dreaming of the day I have a studio again, but thankful for little spaces where I can still create my art.

I love your perspective as always and definitely agree that the negative space really showcases the very aspects that I’m trying to capture. The last couple of rolls that I shot were color, but loading up more B&W this week!! 😊

2024-03-25 19:31:33 +0000 UTCI currently send my film to a lab for processing actually. They send me back a file with all of my scans that I’m able to download. But my goal for the future is to develop develop and scan my own stuff 😊
