Another weekend In the woods - Part 4

Shot by my good friend Eric, on my camera that he gave to me for my 30th Birthday. The camera that started my journey into film. My Pentax K1000. I love that my first camera was one out of his very own collection. I love that he’s been my mentor and has turned into such an amazing friend. I love that after almost 15 years of friendship, we’re still making art together and memories that I’ll never forget. I will forever be grateful that his love for film made me love film.
Something about my hands in the second shot…I’m a little obsessed. I love how much emotion can be expressed with our bodies and not only our faces. I really try to convey that emotion through my work and hope that it’s showing here. As alway, I’d love to hear your feedback! 💕j

Wow! Both of these stand on their own as amazing photos; I really don't want to compare them! The first is definitely mysterious composition wise, but the lantern and relaxed pose in the tub really ushers in a calm atmosphere. The second, as you said, the hands are amazing! It's super cool how your arms create these little pockets of negative space which I am obsessed with!
