Added 2024-03-05 23:03:54 +0000 UTCNothing too artistic about any of these self ports (except the last on, my favorite!) but what I love about them is that I was so incredibly happy and at peace when I took them (even though I may not look it.) As much as the intention of my self portrait work is too help me along my healing journey, I feel like joy is just as an important emotion to capture as all the other unpleasant ones we have to work through daily. It’s a reminder to myself of why I’m on my healing journey and why I need to continue on it. For moments like these.
