I’m curious about Cog’s recent short trip there. Any cool sights, food, or shopping he checked out (like the new Sega store in Shibuya PARCO)? Also, any big plans for Japan with the Lords outside of TGS?

And that was even BEFORE I realized he executive produced the game that my online/pro strongman comes from. 1992's Battle Chess. Hope to see you do more interviews like that because they've been awesome so far. And shout out to my man Cog for always being so DEPENDable. 😉

2025-08-12 21:10:53 +0000 UTCHello Tyson Chicken Dukes, With the at least 1.2 million sales on Xbox, and the 2 million in a month sales on Playstation 5, it clear that Forza Horizon 5 is a hit. I feel as though though that release has unlocked a dormant need in the PS audience, a need for a more arcade like racer to complement the traditional Sim racer style. The Xbox audience has both Motorsport and Horizon to balance out each other. I think its time for Sony to bring back Motorstorm. The last release had such a cool mix of track and offroad vehicles, and bikes. It had beautiful environments, cool dirt and mud physics, and destructable environments and environmental hazards. It also had the untimely misfortune as releasing the same time Japan was ravaged by earthquakes, effectively killing its release. I think Sony should see that sales blessing as a sign to revitalize a series of its own, with such a cool name, because clearly it's audience wants more games that aren't as gear heavy as GT. Keep up the great work Brad. You're as vital and valuable to LSM as Insomniac and Obsidian, and have a "Cog calling Jiraiya a snitch is my 9/11" kind of day.

2025-08-12 11:31:45 +0000 UTCHey Dukes, I got two corrections for you guys, one in regards to the price change of Outer Worlds 2 and one for Darksiders 4. Firstly, it seems theres been some information lost in the sauce with Microsoft reducing the price of Outer Worlds 2 and Xbox's other games. I believe Brad was asking Matty about this on the episode Cog was gone but Matty sourced news from earlier in the year. From IGN, "An Xbox spokesperson shared the pricing changes with IGN today: “We’re focused on bringing players incredible worlds to explore, and will keep our full priced holiday releases, including The Outer Worlds 2, at $69.99 – in line with current market conditions.” " This would imply that Black Ops will also be $70 and anything else that releases Holiday 2025. The second correction is a little bit nerdy about Darksiders 4 because I love the franchise so much. Matty referenced the THQ press release about Darksiders 4 picking up from the original and he took that the tone and design of the game but it's really talking about the story. The Darksiders story hasn't progressed past the end of Darksiders 1. Darksiders 2 and 3 take place concurrently to the original but don't go beyond it. So finally, 3 games and almost 10 years later, we can continue the Darksiders timeline.
