I remember back in school when it came to some of my crushes, I’d think “yeah I’m friends with her, we hang out, but she probably wouldn’t ever *like me* like me.” And I’d talk myself out of making any sort of move, and would give up on entertaining the possibility of being more than friends. Then years later on Facebook or Instagram, the girl would message me and be like “remember when I had a crush on you” and I’d always be like “WHEN?!” 😂😭
