I won't lie I'm sadden they took out the part where he talked about how he mysteriously gained enough XP to level up after killing the plant girl, causing the others to judge him as a cold blooded murderer. Still looking forward to this arc can't wait to see where this season will stop at.

Yes. Seasons 1 and 2 were done by studio Deen. The movie was done by J.C. staff and the megumin spinoff and this new season are done by studio Drive.

idk if they'll fight a dragon or not but the opening is usually a random fight considering in S2 they fought a giant tree monster in the opening so I don't think it's spoilers. I do like getting a short fight in the openings tho because that swing from Aqua throwing the whole gang in the air keeps her as my Fav so far

You guys missed it, that monster requires people to stay with her, afflicted by her charm like in a JRPG for example until they literally starve and get too weak to prevent the monsters roots to enter their bodies (pause). Another fun fact: that mallet is literally an item one of the people Aqua reincarnated into this world wished for lol. The guy the monster sucked dry (pause #2) is like Kazuma from another world
