You can see they're pretty hopeless on their own and need to be told what to do because thats just how goons are. They can barely run themselves and don't have direction which is prolly why they were easily put in this "show up every Sunday and fight the Rangers" position. They got nothing else and they're stuck in their ways like actual people can be irl.
