Given her own experiences of bullying and just common knowledge of how others who would be in her daughter's position may have been treated, she still decided to give her daughter such a similar name as her and gave her to a parent who is largely responsible to how MoMi grew up and became who she is.....even out of desperation, giving mimo to any stranger would've probably given her a better chance than giving her to her former abuser (for lack of a better term).....but other than that while MoMi is a bit psychotic, most of her actions have been born out of survival instead of premeditatiom so it'd be a little unfair to call her a bad person/mom although she is hardly a good one imo
