If you had a lots of fat and just a little protein though, a fat dude could last a very long time with just water and protein. Thus the leg. I mean Zeff wasn't fat, but the little bit of fat on him plus the protein and water would have been enough for him to live.

I used to have to debride diabetic ulcers as part of my schooling, and the surgeon told me that they tried using fish skin, honey, and various other compounds to help the healing process to some decent success. Fish even carry a lower incidence of transmittable disease than using a mammal graft. I would guess you'd just have to worry about parasites?

2023-10-20 00:07:41 +0000 UTCI am pretty sure Luffy saying "it sucks that he lost the city of gold" about Noland's story, is a tease to him being able to see through the truth of things ("voice of all things" being the official name of this..) because when Nami "corrected" him, Luffy confidently said that stories can have multiple points. It does get tricky about when Luffy is being a complete dummy and when he is "in the zone" and sharp, lol. Also Luffy keeps getting Buggy's name wrong is because that is Luffy's thing where he doesn't bother remembering people's names who he doesn't acknowledge/respect. The reason for him not respecting Buggy is probably cause he insulted Shanks (and cause Buggy is literally a fkn clown, lmao).

I don't think Arlong and his crew can go through the calm belt safely.* I don't remember from the anime if there is another path to there, but Nami noticed earlier in this live action, the "reverse river" that she didn't know about and she said that wouldn't make sense *wink wink*. So if that is the only path then they did need the map. This is also the answer to Sheera wondering why the map to the Grand Line is so important, its because people generally can't leave the ocean they are born in, North Blue, South, East, West. They need this map to get out of East Blue. The important people live outside of the 4 oceans, both the big-name/important pirates and WG, CD, etc. So Marines prevent people from the 4 oceans from even getting to that part of the world by keeping the map to the Grand Line for themselves.

That's the reason why some soldiers put salt on their wounds at war when there is nothing else. I think it probably hurts like Hell tho.
