Hacked....
Added 2018-12-08 22:02:42 +0000 UTCToday smb took over my email addresses, my vlog channel, FB account, tried to hack my main channel, Instagram... I still have no access to my vlog channel where I uploaded the coming video for patreon and my email. Whoever did it sent many mails and deleted them so I can't really see what and who he/she wrote to. I just learned it was a French IP address. It happened to me before but this time I didn't manage to recover my YT vlog channel password. Hopefully I will soon. It was a heck of a stress because I am not home and I had to deal with it on my phone... Why anyone would need my accounts?... No idea. Anyways I hope for the best and I am trying to be positive! I hope that everything will be alright and YT will get my channel back to me! Hope you are having a great weekend 😉💋

2018-12-10 11:36:23 +0000 UTCPoor Shushanna, what an upsetting thing to happen, and a disrespectful thing for someone to have done. :( I do hope you are able to recover access to all affected accounts and then secure them. With regard to security measures, I agree with previous respondents that two-factor authentication and using different passwords for different log-ins are good measures to take. Also advisable is to make passwords strong by making them at least ten characters long and including not only letters and numbers but also other characters that can only be accessed by using the SHIFT key or using ALT plus a three or four-figure numeric keypad number combination (e.g. obscure accented letters). Taken as a whole, passwords should not be recognisable words or phrases or even words or phrases followed by simple numbers. They should include at least some random strings of characters. Then so long as you note them down in a secure place, it doesn't matter even if you can't memorise them. Further advice I'd suggest would be to avoid ever signing in to important accounts in an Internet café or otherwise on a shared public or institutional local wi-fi network, because such networks are notoriously insecure and it may be possible for a hacker to track your password as you type it in there simply by being logged onto the wi-fi network at the same time. Before I knew this had happened, I tagged you in an Armenian song posting on Twitter yesterday - not sure if you'll even have seen the notification in the circumstances, but hope it's a small consolation to know your friends are thinking of you!

2018-12-09 12:41:26 +0000 UTCThe two step authentification is a good idea and don't use the same password for multiple accounts. Use different ones and write them on a paper in case you forget, don't keep a textfile on your phone with all of them.Don't use passwords that can be guessed and always use numbers too. For example if I wanted to use Elvis' name for a password I would write it like 3LV15

2018-12-09 10:06:05 +0000 UTCYou work so hard and you are hacked this is the worst thing that I saw .... these kind of people don’t have nothing anymore to do, it sounds like it, complicated and tense but as you said, be positive and everything is going to be all right : )

2018-12-09 01:49:31 +0000 UTCShushanna, those are awful news. But fortunately you discovered it and you try to be positive in that situation. I'm completely stressed now, when I think about it. But all will be good for you. That is the only truth I know. I hope you can find some sleep tonight and that tomorrow will be already a bit better again.

2018-12-08 23:20:10 +0000 UTCBest wishes, and I hope you get them back. There's something called "two-factor authentication" or "two-step authentication" that you can turn on for more security, so any time you or anyone else log in somewhere they'll send a code to your phone, and you'll have to also enter the code to finish logging in. The instructions to enable two-factor authentication for YouTube/Google are here: <a href="https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185839?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185839?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en</a> and the instructions to enable it for Facebook are here: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/help/148233965247823" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.facebook.com/help/148233965247823</a> and the instructions to enable it for Patreon are here: <a href="https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/206538086-How-Do-I-Set-Up-Two-Factor-Authentication-">https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/206538086-How-Do-I-Set-Up-Two-Factor-Authentication-</a>

2018-12-08 22:42:49 +0000 UTCOh my God that's horrible. Hope you'll get back control over all your accounts very soon! In case you'd need to know where emails were sent to ask your email provider. They might have logfiles of everything. Don't know how it is in Armenia but I guess it might be smiliar to over here in Europe where they all have to keep records by law. Hope you have a lovely weekend anyway. Don't let this situation stress you out. It will all be sorted soon.
