2021-09-22 16:23:25 +0000 UTCOf the top 10 Sonic games on Metacritic, all but two are sidescrollers, and all but one are either remakes, direct sequels to the Mega Drive games, or on handhelds. Sonic Mania proves that Sonic fans don't ask for much. Just solid 2-D platformers.
