I think most of people would agreed with Ron on this, Sai and Danzo in this particular case was te correct way to act, as Ron says, its better to eliminate a possible danger as soon as possible, but the thing is tha Naruto show itself has the friendships like one of the pillars son even thought this was the best or the great good, all is fckd due to the friend ish alignment of the show

Exactly, that's what I was trying to say. He doesn't want his friend to get hurt and be used by someone else, just because of the pain he carries inside. Naruto wants to try to help Sasuke see that, he knows that what awaits him otherwise is bad. Let's see, he's in the bingo book, and Orochimaru wants him as a vessel, so either he ends up dead, or he ends up imprisoned, or sunk in darkness. No path is positive for him in this state. What person would want that for his friend?

Since Ron asked, I guess to kinda explain what Sasuke did, all spoiler free using just the knowledge you've seen up to this point. Since he has the Sharingan, he can see Chakra, like the aura and concentrations of it (stated before). Since the Fox's chakra is literally a separate intelligent being, he was able to see and talk to the Fox. In the episode the Fox said he "suppressed" his Chakra. My interpretation of this is the Fox's chakra was beginning to leak out, and the Fox was trying to tempt Naruto to use more. So Sasuke interrupted that. This was probably only possible because Naruto didnt want to use it in the first place.

Without much spoiler about Madara, he's indeed the Statue facing the first Hokage in the Valley of the end (Naruto being on the Hokage's statue and Sasuke on Madara's). By the way, the scene with Naruto/Kyubi/Sasuke was in the first episode too. Madara was namedropped for the first time in that episode as well (if I remember correctly, you didn't really react to it).

Naruto doesn't act self righteous once in this entire series. The very action of trying to save Sasuske is the opposite of self righteous. He never points at Sauske and tells him he is wrong, or thinks himself morally right or superior. He just wants his friend back and not to turn down a wrong path.

Well, actually he said it. Not in my exact words, but he said it. He even had a similar idea with Gaara. And I don't consider it to be THAT deep. It's pretty simple, actually. And logical, right? Maybe the way I explain it sounds profound, but I don't think it really is. And on the other hand, I think Naruto is always THIS deep. Idk if you watched the entire anime but, Naruto always tries to make people realize that doing bad things isn't the way, even if they have reasons. He tries to show them other ways to solve problems by understanding their pain. Most of the time he thinks QUITE deeply, it is one of the things that most characterizes his person. But hey!!, that's my interpretation, if it you feel different, that's great. But I thought it was interesting to mention it because I saw that no one considered it as an option. And personally I see this option as quite obvious, from my point of view. Greetings.

Nobody said this but, You have to know that Naruto is still trying to help sasuke not to kill his brother but to make him understand revenge NEVER is the best way. I mean, we know that even if Itachi killed all his clan, Sasuke will not be better even if he kill's Itachi. That's the thing about revenge. Of course is sad, of course is unfair and everyting. But we know revenge isn't the best way. Naruto Knows that too. He just doesn't want his beloved friend to become draker and darker than before. He knows what will happen if Sasuke do that. Naruto is really desperate. He want's to convince Sasuke at all cost. But what he doesn't know is that Sasuke is already in so much darkness that he just can't understand this. He just need's to get revenge. This isn't a spoiler, It is just what we can understand about Naruto's personality, and what happens in real life. Nobody would like his friend to take revenge. It only bring worst things. We know the end is dead or prison if this continue on this way :(

Basically, Sasuke did the same thing with the Nine-Tailed Fox's chakra as Yamato did. Thanks to their Sharingan, the Uchiha also have the ability to control the tailed beasts like the First Hokage and Yamato with the wood jutsu

Nine tails was still sealed behind the gate , but a little of its chakra was starting to seap out. Sasuke dispersed the manifestation of the seaped out chakra, although naruto was virtually doing the same when he told him that he don’t want him to come out

It was so crazy back in the day when this was in the manga. Literally just a few weeks after we read this in the manga, the Shippuuden anime started and had a preview of this in the first episode. Absolutely crazy to see the part which just happened animated but a few weeks later.

So the way I interpret, "Dont Kill Naruto, you'll regret it", is like... kinda like a threat. The 9 tails reminds me a little of Sukuna, so I imagine it more as a threat.

The sharingan lets you send chakra through/as light and injects it into the other person from eye to eye. Sharingan genjutsus work that way. In this case, Sasuke sent his chakra and consciousness inside Naruto while he was looking at him directly into his eyes. How "exactly" did Sasuke's chakra suppress the 9 tails' chakra? Well, he's a chad.

To answer your question about sasuke when he suppresses the nine tails in Naruto's mind. The nine tails was accumulating chakra on Naruto's side of the seal. Sasuke forced that chakra to disperse; sending it back to the other side of the seal. When the nine tails warns Sasuke not to kill Naruto it's anyone's guess what he really meant. I always thought he was saying it in the sense of "if you kill naruto you'll regret it, because then I'll be free and i'll kill you."

Once you finish this arc it's a pretty good time to see Kakashi's gaiden. Also 54 & 56 may be marked as fillers but there are some worthy conversations on those episodes on the main characters, then you can jump to episode 72

I don't think Sasuke wants any help with killing his brother. It's a pride thing and in his mind, he won't feel like he's truly strong unless he can do it on his own. The big reason why sasuke left the village to pursue his brother is because he felt like he wasn't getting any stronger by staying.

I think the issue is in the Leaf village, sasuke wasn't getting strong enough so he went to Orochimaru for BIG power boosts and the village cant accept abandoning and working with Orichmaru. Itachi is also wayy to strong to get I dont even think anyone in the leaf could fight him.
