What is really impressive is that Ging was able to predict so far as Gon picking a spell card to transform to take out from the game.

The characters are behaving different way in 1999 version, hence didn't connect with future events or character developments in manga, so they changed it more in the anime, and it makes further away from manga.

So I always recommend people to read the original manga.

For me, intro and outro are there to hype up the show for those who read the manga and those who do not know the show but can't wait to see who those characters are in the show. But if you really want to go in blind then it is your choice. So next, Ging made it that if Gon chose the Magnetic Force card to 'teleport' to Ging, he will teleport to him successfully since he will be alone. However, if Gon chose the Accompany On card, Gon and friends will be teleported to Kite. Gon chose the Accompany On card cause he wanted to introduce Killua to Ging over using Magnetic Force card to go to Ging alone. The narrator and Kite VA do sound alike but they are not the same VA. Kite VA is also Shanks VA. ^-^

I cant say too much without spoiling, but basicly the main villain(s) is something you'd want to see for the first time in the actual story and not in the intro. So if I were you I'd skip the intro. But watching intro wont ruin the experience, so you are good either way.

So it's probably is best to wait until the end of the arc, or the whole anime in general (just to be on the safe side), and that way your reactions could be more of first impressions without having any glimpses beforehand.

To me it's just part of the experience, I wasn't sitting there trying to piece everything together. I was just like "wow this arc looks interesting" "who's that?" "That character looks cool" "This song is dope". As if I was watching a trailer. That's it. These so called "spoilers" don't really phase me because ultimately, we still are ignorant and don't know shit. Therefore, there's still that aspect of surprise and excitement. Ya'll gotta stop scaring them. Smh, really over here robbing them of the experience over some new characters being in the intro. Like there hasn't been new characters shown in damn near every intro they've watched previously.

Magnetic Force was a card in Greed Island, i don't think we've seen them use it at all (except for mentioning it multiple times). But it doesn't require any kind of skill. It was just a total gamble, Gon had 50% chance to meet Ging, but he decided to go with Killua, so he used Accompany. That's all it is, just an frustrating troupe, like in movies where people looking for themselves could meet, but they miss themselves by a margin.

It was cut in 2011 version. For me, it was a better experience to watch the 1999 version then this episode after the end of the old version.

But others feel like something is spoiled for them. If you have watched an opening, and felt spoiled by it before, then maybe wait, otherwise just watch it. So Ging said if Gon would come alone (using magnetic force), then he was allowed to meet Ging. But if he was "spineless" and tries to bring others (using Accompany), then they would be sent to Kite

P.S. Also, Kite's VA is different from the narrator's and the narrator VA is the same throughout HxH I think. You guys are striking out today with your theories xD I don't blame you tho, the VAs sounded very similiar and I totally see Ron's line of thought about magnetic force as something that could be legit :p

Ging was just saying that if he uses Accompany (which brings the user and the people around him to the target player, in this case 'Nigg') that he wanted them to go to Kite. Only if Gon used Magnetic force (which brings only the user to the target player) then it would bring him to Ging. It sounds like Ging was just being shy and awkward though, and didn't want to have other people around when they meet each other.

I just watched the OP and ED and they both spoil character designs, if you care about that, not a huge deal. There are also some subtle story elements present, but as long as you're not like dissecting frame by frame you could def watch without ruining anything, imo.
