For me, Season 1 was better in the Anime. First season is just a prologue to the real story, which begins in Season 2. The only thing I didn’t like about Season 1 tho, was (*SPOILERS*) - that they left out the hint of romantic affection that Endorsi had towards Bam.

Don't know where you're getting this from but no anime is being dropped. They will just replace anime after they finish watching it, as always. I think there was earlier talk about starting Kuroko no Basket, but they're just gonna wait until Death Note is finished and replace that with it. So slime or any other anime isnt being dropped. It'll just be replaced once finished.

Hey I just wanted to be clear because you said you guys were leaning one pace. One pace is a fan made edit that tried to cut out things deemed repetitive or drawn out/repeat scenes it's not for cutting out filler there are very few actual full filler episodes of one piece. Also, for the first 500 episodes one pace is pretty much useless as it cuts very little from the show at all.

I know people say the 3rd and 4th seasons stray away from the manga and they aren't as good as the first two, but you haven't read the manga, so it's not like you have any expectations or any comparisons to make. I remember you guys were reacting to the intros and live singing videos, and you seemed genuinely intrigued. So why should other people's opinions affect that, at least check it out for yourself. I think for the spot with one episode a week, you should only choose short shows so you could finish more and start more shows thus bringing in more potential Patreon members while accommodating your own schedule. so, it's not worth reacting to since it'll take way too long. One Piece is literally my favorite piece of fiction but even I can't recommend it anymore. It'll take 5 years just to catch up to 1064 and another year to catch up to the 266 episodes they will be behind when they reach 1064 and it'll take even more time to catch up when they reach the 266 episodes. Basically, it's way too long for a 4 episodes per week schedule. But if they choose to react to One Piece, first of all godspeed to them, and second, it has to be the manga cuz it'll be much faster and much more enjoyable. Or a lot of episodes per week but I doubt they'll do that.

Agreed, I wasn't completely sold on fire force as a whole, I dropped off watching it near the end of season 1, but I have always sold it as the BEST audio engineered anime I have heard from an sfx point of view.
