December's Release - The Toymaker's Terror

“The Toymaker's Terror” is designed for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 4th-5th level.

Spending his time earning the trust of the citizens of Halcyon, an isolated mining town, Mister Corfiz, a talented inventor, has secretly been planning to raid the town, stealing its resources and mines for himself. As his plan approached completion, Halcyon was filled with adorable shard construct plushies, given to the children as a gift. However, these toys hid a sinister secret. They were truly monsters in disguise, awaiting his orders to attack the unsuspecting townsfolk. Unfortunately, during his absence from his workshop, a group of drekons raided it, finding his airship and stealing it. During their escape, they passed Halcyon, crashing into a tower and destroying it, throwing the citizens into confusion and panic. Angered by the loss of his airship, Mister Corfiz has determined that now is the time to attack while the townsfolk are in disarray. Will the characters be able to stop the tribe of drekons and make it back to town in time to save the citizens? Or will they fall victim to the nightmare plushies and Mister Corfiz’s hideous inventions?

New Airship of the Month - Teslite Class Cruiser

Even among unique airships, the teslite cruiser stands as a distinctly unique creation. Rare both in function and design, it’s a relatively uncommon sight in the skies of Sordane. Multiple iterations of the teslite cruiser can be found. There are the more common scientific variations that strive for knowledge and navigate the vast expanse to unravel the mysteries of the world and then there are the military variations. Their sole focus is destruction of the enemy on the battlefield. The teslite cruiser’s rare power capabilities allow for it to excel immensely at both of these pursuits. Meticulously crafted, the teslite cruisers are a feather in the cap of the skilled shipbuilders of Cin’dar.

Throughout history, the presence of extremely powerful brain snatching monsters that preyed on the most intelligent beings in society was an unsubstantiated horror story in Sordane before the cuthari arrived. They were at most a rumor spread among elite scholars to scare off their rivals in the pursuit of power. For many of these scholars, however, the advent of the cuthari, and with them the ravenous eiberlords, turned these harmless stories into reality. Terrifying monsters that towered over the tallest of humans that used their immense physical and magical prowess to capture and consume the brains of gifted scholars and mages or to drag them back to their secret laboratories to live the remainder of their life in a drug-fueled dreamstate as they waited to be consumed...
