End of Month report - March '22

It's certainly crazy how time flies!  The first week of March still had a bit of Iron Pen going on and the second week being a vacation after it there wasn't a lot of work that happened.  I managed to get most of the administrative tasks done that were held off during the Iron Pen and managed to get significant progress done with the game as well as a few stories that are being worked on.  It's significantly less then last month but with it being over 500k words I'm not terribly surprised.  This was also the first month of the new schedule and I would have to say that it went pretty well so far, especially with getting a bit of editing down.

Speaking of such things we have two books that are being released, or will be once I get this last one edited, and have covers in the works to three more!  With our first sales con of the year coming up it's been quite the hustle to get things squared away.  I also got a few more sprite sheets for Rain and Shine and some more art commissioned for Fall of the Behemoth.  We are continuing full stream ahead on these projects and with the additional books plus an art pack that is being made we can keep drawing attention to Smilodon Studio's store.

With March done we look forward to April.  FurSquared is this month and as I mentioned we're getting everything ready for that to hopefully be a successful convention, plus looking at potentially being good for AnthroCon as well.  April is looking to be a huge production month of non-writing materials, though there is the conbook that I want to finish, and continuing to invigorate other projects like Fall of the Behemoth.  I also finally feel comfortable enough to do a personal project or two and will be resuming my normal streaming schedule.  

There is also one other major leap in Smilodon Studio, which is the purchase of a new fursuit.  I have seen an intriguing auction with a fun suit look and I am planning on attempting to get a slot that might even be done in July!  While I will still have the old suit for FurSquared and AnthroCon it's possible I might have something ready for IndyFurCon.  It's a very exciting process and was only made possible by this patreon.

That's about it for this month's report, I do have two exclusive stories to be owed to patreon and I will have them done soon but possibly not in time for the turnover to the new month.  With one exclusive already done however and admittedly the reason for the extras getting wiped out in the last two days I feel that it's alright.  Plus I have Best in Show to finish still and I'm really looking forward to releasing it.
