February Rewards are now available on Gumroad !!!

(I really should have kept my mouth shut. But having given this snake a jab, I can't leave well enough alone.) This is a weird looking thread. It looks like a group of people who really love NeoArtCorE (as any sensible person should) are talking past each other on how to go about getting more people to love NeoArtCorE. The core issue appears to be prices on Gumroad. One side wants to bring the Gumroad prices down a bit thinking that it's out of range of a potential audience. Another side considers those prices to be more than acceptable and a sign of how much we love NeoArtCorE. (I have to admit to falling on the whale side of that debate.) Maybe there's a middle ground. I love NeoArtCorE (in a mostly pants on sort of way ... mostly) and wouldn't mind paying for a $10 tier. Maybe if such a tier appeared and enough of us showed their support by upgrading, then this could offset a drop in the price of the Gumroad images? (Any ideas what a better Gumroad price would be?) That (I think) would address both sides of this discussion. But I'm not NeoArtCorE. I'm just some loud mouth drunk. Ultimately it's up to NeoArtCorE what he wants to do and I'm fine with any direction that he takes.

But to be completely fair, most of the pictures are variants of base ones. If you really want the art is doesn't cost that much. It would be more correct to say that the $5 tier is required in order to get the same quality but overall the memberships on Patreon are fine. The issue is about Gumroad. Even with the 75% discount, we are still far of the same value of what other artists can offer (5 times more variants). This 75% discount also gives the impression that the prices on Gumroad are intentionally way higher than they should be to incite people to pledge to Patreon, which can be viewed as bad practice.

He always updates deviantart within 24 hours of posting here. The point of Patreon/Gumroad is so that people can financially support creative people. It's up to you to decide by how much you want to show support to these people. I find it amazing that there exists a way to support talented people like NeoArtCorE, and I just wish that I could somehow do more than throw some cash his way.

Yes, that's absurd when there are other artists that are releasing packages containing more than 80 pictures for the same price.
