F1 Reality Reshade future updates
Added 2023-11-24 22:14:16 +0000 UTCDear Community, as always development never stops. With the recent release of the new CSP and Pure, and new ppfilters, is time to think of the future of my suite. There is part of me that finds really good the latest release but at the same time, especially for the broadcast series presets, I think something is a bit off. Recently I upgraded my PC, this implied installing afresh windows and thus Assetto Corsa. Before installing over my mod I tried few sessions with the vanilla game and I realized this was a bit more polished and refined of the results I achieved with my presets. But most importantly I realized how massive is the performance hit when using my presets (on a 7950x3d and 4080, around 50fps, way too much). So first focus is to improve massively the performance. In the first iteration of the new version in development, I then reduced the drops from 50 to 15 fps. At the same time I wanted to reduce the effects because I believe I am reducing the image quality way too much. So I am now reworking all the effects in a way that reshade will result in the cherry on top. Less is more. What is your opinion regarding this, I also want to evaluate the feedbacks of the community.

Yeah I agree, less is more. Sometimes when I push too much I tent to loose the perception of the balance with the vanilla look. It will take a while before finalizing a final update. Unfortunately I have a bit going on lately between my new pc config, and private life, but as usual stay tuned:) development never stops

I've been out of the scene for awhile, but I'm looking to get back into it. Looking forward to see where you take your mod! I'll be updating to the latest CSP and Pure tonight... hopefully I don't screw things up!
