A Real Talk & Discussing the Future

Now that the "Gloryhole Girls" story has been told, it's time to have a real talk about the state of the WorldOfLeah in general and also about what comes next!
Real Talk
First and foremost I want to address an elephant in the room. Many of you might've noticed that the time it takes for me to complete an album has slowed down.
It used to be that I could do about ~60 pics a month, but the recent albums have shown that it has gone down to about ~40 now. Meaning an Album that used to take 1 month, now takes about 1 and 1/2 or in some cases even longer.
The reason for this is that I'm no longer working on the WorldOfLeah full-time and had to get a part-time job to balance my financials. For the past few months, I've been sitting relatively stable between 1.6k - 1.7k a month on Patreon, which after tax and insurances leaves me with an amount that's simply not sustainable and wouldn't even be considered minimum wage in my country.
So, while WorldOfLeah is still my main means of income and, I'm genuinely more than grateful for still being able to do this, I'm no longer able to committ all my time to it, which just ends up translating to slower image output.
My mental health also hasn't been in the greatest position for the past few years, and after working on the WorldOfLeah every day for over 4 years now, I can't deny that my passion to this project has also faded, as I've pretty much showed and told more stories that I could've ever imagined back then. This isn't to say that I'm not enjoying myself anymore, but I think "creatively exhausted" would describe it better.
In hindsight
I was thinking about what it is exactly that motivates me to do these albums. What's something I personally like seeing and what are the type of albums that I enjoy less. Figuring this out could help me bring back some passion and creativity into the World Of Leah.
I realized that there are 2 types of Albums that I had the most fun with - and coincidentally (or not) often also seemed to be the most popular. For one, those were Albums featuring Gloryholes.

Now, I'm also aware that those type of albums may also be the most niche. None of them have sex in them, or any hardcore kinks that people usually like to see in 3DX space. They're pretty vanilla with a focus on teasing, sometimes edging, but mostly simply the girls reaction and experience with big cocks. If you think about it, that is what the WorldOfLeah has always been about.
I know that sex scenes can attract a wider audience and I tried to attract more people by adding Albums with exactly that in the past, but in the end I don't feel like those Albums were that great in the end and the boost in subscribers didn't last that long anyway as I moved back to more "vanilla" stuff.
So now, that I'm in a position where it's not going that well financially anyway and the people who are still subscribed seem to be my core audience already, I think I have not that much to loose when I simply keep my focus on what I personally feel like made the WorldOfLeah fun. So essentially: Cock Worship, Teasing/Edging, First time encounters and Glory Holes. So let's talk about:
What's Next
The canonical story of the WorldOfLeah moves on. We're now at a point in time where every girl has had an experience with big cocks, meaning some of the "first time magic" is gone. The story can now focus on each girl more specifically and in what direction they're moving.
But I've also had an idea that would add a little twist to the next couple of Albums - but I want to read your thoughts on that in the comments before I commit to that idea.
How about some non-canonical, one-off albums, that play with a few "what if?" scenarios.
This just as an example but: What if, in the very first Album (Kendall's Secret), Kendall wasn't living in this dorm room (together with Alana) but instead Annie? What if Annie and Alana discovered the Donglers cock instead of Kendall? How would that Album be played out?
I can see a lot of alternative-timeline scenarios that could be fun to explore for a while, before the main story moves on. You know, to switch it up a little and bring back some innocence and first time experience to the World. (Of Leah)
What do you think? Would it be a good idea to switch things up in that direction for a while - or would you rather see the story move on right away? What alternative scenarios could you think of?

I personally find more sympathetic the more innocent stories, in fact the last ones with leah are fun to read. By the way great job with leah, the model now is really fantstic. I found Lily's character in the beginning also interesting, now that she has lost some of her innocence much less so.... this is my point of view and what I think is original in your stories. I have also written a few stories in the past and so I know what it feels like, when you have a lot of ideas, little time and little energy...

2024-05-26 23:13:13 +0000 UTCIn my opinion quality of your album is really high and amount of sceens in each of them especially in recent ones is astounding - but this might also be an issue that if you focus on huge 100+ scenes albums that take huge amount of time to create it might be quite like you are in a prison and since you probably are not willing to compromise on quality you stuck with one episode for a quite some time which might not be as rewarding and it also does not give you the ability to be agile. So what would be my advice? I would still do some story development, character’s pairing into scenes and here and there introduce few kinks here and there that would make them exceed their boundaries. But in a format of shorter stories - 30 to 50 scenes. And also since you know you really enjoy - and many of us also - like edging, cock worship, firs time encounter etc. focus on those but i guess its not a bad thing include here and there some rough fucking - mainly when those above mentioned boundaries are exceeded ;) i believe that would help the World of Leah to continue to be vibrant realm which excite you and us as your fans as well.

I also read all the comments and I agree with them, I think the interesting thing would be to intersperse, sometimes stories that are 100% of what you like to do and sometimes (unfortunately) give people a bit of Fanservise... I believe this is the revenue for subscribers to maintain or even grow About the story, I also agree with the guys, you have to follow what you want, that's what brought us all here to like your work, so keep following it, I'm sure it will lead to something extremely good Your work is great and I'm sure we will always be here with you.

The teasing is great, but in my opinion we need more intercourse scenes that follow the core characters with the schlonger specifically. Leah could be practicing with the schlonger while Lilly and Leah warm up and prepare to get to that point as well. In the meantime the side characters can still do their thing with the other guys so that a few can be introduced to the scholnger to compare their experiences with the previous men. Those are my suggestions that will be upmost satisfying to me. Either way, the story direction you choose will always be best when told with inspiration and a clear purpose backing it.

I said it in my other post, but I think the No Nut November release is the perfect example of having confident girls that are sexually dominant over the guy in an entertaining way for all. If you produce more of that type of content you'll have a long-term subscriber in me.

While starting out with the "first time experience" angle makes sense for a while, eventually it has to mature to the next step. I think you've started that next step with Leah (who was the last domino to fall) in this last series, so continuing on with that "first time" angle doesn't seem to flow for me, even if it were in the alternate timeline that you mentioned. If you want to do teasing stuff, I prefer the type of stuff you had in No Nut November, A Night of Dares, and Roadtrip with Benefits Part 2. Those are probably my three favorite sets you've done along with some of the Penis Games set Kendall, Alexa, and Lily. Personally I don't get much from the glory hole episodes. This latest one captured my interest simply because we finally got to see Leah break out of her shell. In the end this is your creation and you need to find enjoyment and satisfaction in it. However I see the plan you're proposing being limited in how far your able to take it before it becomes too repetitive.

You're very talented, and a good story teller, so everything needed is already there! So perhaps take some time and do some things just for you, with the intent to never share it, so you rediscover what it was you enjoyed originally when you first started doing it, or better yet, discover a new reason you love doing it! I have faith you'll figure out what it is you need!

I could probably do better with more spicier stuff yes, but I'd honestly think it'd burn me out at this point. The amount of difference it would need to make in order for me to have a stable, sustainable income through this, is too high to even attempt right now. So I don't have a lot of hopes of being able to do this full-time again, at least in the near future. Maybe in the far future, when I had time to charge my creative battery again I could find a way to revive this project for good and make something new out of it. But as it stands now, I'm out of battery and much rather fully focus on what I enjoy, seeing it as a hobby that I have to support with some extra work, rather than forcing myself to do something I don't enjoy - but full time. I hope that perhaps the coming albums will spark that fire again so you (and everyone else) can enjoy them the way you enjoyed some of the older content. It's a journey for myself as well and I never know how things will really work out - but I could see it really help if I just manage to see the WorldOfLeah as a hobby again, rather than work. So that's what I'm trying to do!

Or rather, the pleasure for the girls coming from being in control. That is rather intentional though and part of why I'm aware of it being less for the mainstream, besides the lack of sex and kinks. It's personally what I am into and would like to portrait, even though I know there is potential in doing better if I'd bring in more submissive girls, but it's not a route I particularly like. As to my financials: I used to be in a relatively stable position at around $2000-2200 when I was still a "small business owner", which in Germany is fairly easy on you when it comes to taxes. But for the past 2 years I'm not considered that anymore so I'm paying more taxes (and more insurance) than ever before, but am also at my lowest income. But to really have a stable income with Patreon alone (one where I could safe up a little so I don't face immediate bankruptcy if something would go wrong with Patreon) I'd need to make around $3000 consistently, which I have never reached before and don't really expect anymore. But either way, I'd never want to ask of you for more support, especially if you enjoy the content less! While this is very appreciated, please don't feel like you have to support more to keep the WorldOfLeah alive! I'm sure I'll find ways to keep this going, even if the numbers drop some more.

I think "what if"s sound interesting but might be hard to make work without repeating the same tropes over and over with different characters. That is in fact a point where I see the fan base might get tired. Even if those tropes have been the most successful, I would not avoid others, as sprinkling them here and there could keep people interested and surprised. But what can I say, albums with a bit of sex (oral or whatever) are my favorite after all 😅

After the second drop of images, and knowing that your work is often fairly vanilla , I haven't had any excitement to look. What you described in this post, in my opinion, came out in that series, that you'd lost your fire for this! I TOTALLY get that you want to do what you enjoy, that also hopefully pays the bills, otherwise it's no different than a 9-5 "job" so believe me, I understand that. That being said though, I think of you'd really like for this to be your sole form of income, you've gotta mix in some spicier stuff from time to time. I doubt wood carvers "love" to carve cardinals/owls/bears over and over again, but that's what sells the most, they like what they do, and selling those gives them the freedom to actually carve what THEY enjoy, which probably sells too, just to a narrower audience. I enjoyed the beach motor home series you did, the pirate ship one, and the shorter playing video games one the most. They built up to spicy, then were mildly spicy without getting crazy. The images were hot, and the stories were short. I originally subscribed because I liked the short stories complimented with hot imagery. This last series, for me, fell flat closer to the end in the first drop, when it was pretty clear it wasn't going to go any further than it already was. But like I said earlier, I think the whole thing was heavily laced with your self described lack of fire/interest in this. I hope you don't take any of this as me beating up on you, as that's not my intention! I've just been where it appears you are, and wish I'd have gotten some real feedback, what someone likes, and doesn't like. I ended up figuring it out on my own back then, and ended up much happier as a result. I hope this helps!

2024-05-20 16:25:02 +0000 UTCBummer on the financials, realistically speaking what would be the target for this project to be sustainable for you in the long term without having to work part time? As for the content itself. You're an excellent writer. So much so that I'd even be satisfied with 1/10 the pictures/visual content which trust me is a massive compliment. That said what you do so well is the slow, steady and believable transition from reluctantly curious to bold and sexually confident, and that "storyline" if you will I feel needs a payoff in the form of pleasure being reciprocated. Without that it very easily falls into two categories that I personally do not favor: 1) It begins to feel dominating, the motivation can't be curiosity forever so it transitions, sometimes unintentionally, to being about control and deriving pleasure from that. And I'm into the opposite, which it often starts of as in many cases, i.e. submissive behavior. 2) A fixation/fetish on the girls side, which I enjoy from the objectification of men/dicks angle but if it becomes too focused on their experiences and enjoyment you lose the submissive ness again and further it feels very lopsided. This can be mitigated by letting the men speak and voice their motivations of course but it's hard to make it believable that none want more than a hand job and head. So completely foregoing intercourse would lessen my personal enjoyment but at the same time I really do want to support your work, past, present and future, so I'll up a tier here on Patreon and maybe if enough of us do that you won't need to take as many hours part time at least :)

You've made interesting characters with great attention to detail and world-building, so even without the more mainstream sex elements it still puts you a cut above many adult artists on Patreon. You should make what you love and keep sharing it with those that enjoy it, rather than feel like you need to keep adjusting to appeal to a wider audience. This will, in my experience, help keep that passion going - the last thing any of us would want would be to have a favorite artist experience burnout from trying to push too hard.
