Don't worry, because of the high number of votes it looks like It Runs in the Family will have a chapter every month, I just can't double it up every month as it's not far to some of the other voters. I'm going to shoot for double chapters every 2 or 3 months and see how that works out, as it will also give me time to work ahead and construct longer story arcs now that the story is getting more into it. The next arc will focus on Michelle and will be two chapters, then I plan for an arc with the whole family that will be 3 or 4 chapters total and I'm looking forward to that one

2017-07-07 13:27:08 +0000 UTCNo offense to those who feel otherwise -- but taking IRITF out of future polls likely means that I won't be voting in that poll. Outside, perhaps of generic categories, no specific stories. And also assuming that some other series or even one-off stories of a similar nature to IRITF don't come along. I'd vote for such as that. As I've mentioned elsewhere: IRITF was the series that convinced me to join this dance. For now, it -- or stories similar to it -- will keep me signed up.

With the new way of voting it looks like It Runs in the Family still has a big lead, but there's definitely support for other series as well. Every other month or so I might let a popular series have a double update, but I'm going to try and let other series or one shots be more present as well. I also might not include every series in each monthly poll, instead making it a choice between three series and the short stories, then showing different series to vote on for the next month. It might make for more irregular updates but will let less popular series be in rotation too. What do you guys think of a set up like that?

2017-07-03 19:34:32 +0000 UTCOne idea that might help is if you took things out of the rotation after winning a month, so we don't always have the same one - the same two alternating, maybe, but that would be a step up at least.

I know It Runs in the Family have been dominating the polls, and that the fans of that series would vote for other ones they'd like to see too, as well as people who don't vote on a series that they don't think has a chance of winning. So for this month go ahead and choose the series or short stories you'd like to see most, even if it's clicking every option. Either way it should give us a better idea of what other stories people would like to see show up too
