Atropos Patreon Battlemaps - December Update

Hello dear supporters! Thank you all so much for a wonderful 2021 - the team and I have accomplished so much during this calendar year, it's really hard to believe. I am so appreciative for the support and encouragement you have provided along the way.

I am pleased to share an update of my Atropos Patreon Battlemaps module which includes a number of nice updates.

Four New Maps

This update adds four large new maps which are part of a set called the "Remote Prison". These new maps are created at 200px grid resolution.

Remote Prison - Cells

The main level of the prison which includes 12 prison cells, kitchen and dining areas for the guards, the surgery, storage chambers, two exterior courtyards, and a cargo winch which lowers prisoners and supplies down to the docks far below.

Remote Prison - Council

This upper level within the central tower of the prison is where judicial hearings are held, and where valuable goods and evidence are stored within secured vaults.

Remote Prison - Warden

This level of the prison features the warden's office and personal quarters - as well as a recreation room that prison officers and guests use to socialize and unwind.

Remote Prison - Roof

The roof of the central tower stands hundreds of feat above the rocky bluffs below. A trapdoor in the center of the roof opens towards a sky-port where airships may deliver cargo and prisoners.

All Maps Updated for Version 9

In addition to these four new maps, all 61 included maps have been reconfigured to use the latest Foundry Virtual Tabletop version 9 lighting engine. This makes all of the maps look their best in the latest version of the software and takes advantage of beautiful new rendering options. Even older maps like the Temple District (pictured below) live anew with beautiful V9 illumination!

Improved Thumbnails

I have also improved all scenes in the module compendium packs to use .webp thumbnail images which are served with the module itself instead of embedded base64 strings which makes the compendium packs load faster when you are searching for a map to import.

Lastly, instead of providing manifest URLs to install this module, access now controlled by the foundryvtt.com Patreon account integration. All you need to do in order to install (or update) the Atropos' Patreon Battlemaps module is:

1. Support this Patreon at either the Hero or Legend tier.

2. Link your website account to Patreon at: https://foundryvtt.com/me/edit

3. Search for "Atropos Patreon Battlemaps" in the Install Module interface on the Foundry Virtual Tabletop setup menu.
