I am working on a sci fi platformer adventure game. I am looking for any kind of sci fi/ alien like assets. I generally am interested in tilesets and more importantly backgrounds. I like anything metallic, stone, or biological based.

Hey thanks for sharing your projects. This is very helpful for me while deciding what kind of content to create. Keep the good work.

Right now I am working on something with an unusual top down perspective angle - for the characters it most closely resembles a brawler (mostly side view, slight overhead perspective), but for the world its somewhere between a zelda game diorama perspective and the typical old school jrpg/pokemon top down. Personally I really like the look of it, but I've had a few people tell me they were confused by the perspective used. This is what I am going for: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CAfORJoVIAAv-41.jpg This is where it's at: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CJE1zY5UEAAxKvl.jpg:large

Why would you use such an unusual tile size then?

What Id like to see: Platformer levels, backdrops, props, and various other environmental things. As a solo game dev who comes from a programming background, the environment is giving me the most trouble. What Im working on: A 2D metroidvaina style game inspired by many of the classics. While this sounds like what every indie and their mother is doing (and it is), this is a game I have wanted to make since I was in High School 10 years ago, and is not just "Everyone is making this type of game, lets hop on the bandwagon!" Its more of a passion/guilty pleasure project than a make my name in the community project. Its probably 2 years off from being finished since I am employed full time, but I cant wait to show it off! :) Love your art, Ive learned quite a bit from you and cant wait to see more

I'm working on a top-down game (think LoZ: LttP) that uses 16x16 tiles. The game is set in a modern world and is heavily inspired by the Metal Gear series. I haven't used any of your assets yet, but I love your work and can't wait to see more of it!

Most of my game making projects are based around 20x20 tile sizes. This is an unusual size, so it is very rare for me to find any assets that I can use, and I end up drawing my own.
