Theresias and Wilhelms story in the novels can be its own 12 episode season there’s so much lore in it. A great tweet from the author this week was “it’s all pandoras fault” and after seeing this you definitely want to see Emilia giving her hands just like she did regulus. I would give you lore on heinkel that’s super important to know for his outburst at the end of the episode but I don’t know if they’ll come back to it in the future but they might not just know a big portion of why this happened was heinkels fault

Heinkel, as much of piece of shit he is to his own son, has the right to be angry at his own father after blaming everything on him and his son and abandoning them afterward. Also, Wilhelm should have known the burden of having the Sword Saint blessing does on a person, but he still blame Reinhard for Theresia's death

Which would make her a witch outside of the seven we know of. If you search a bit, while most consider vanity to be part of pride and not it's own sin, many classical biblical scholars believed vanity is it's own sin The interesting part of this , to me, is that vanity herself and pride are both very young looking. I wonder if this is in reference to their connection together. Some translations also used vainglory , which is a root word of vanity, instead of pride. I still think the witches are the most interesting part of this plot that isn't heavily focused on. I'm convinced there's more to the "official story" of satella and the witches.
