It didn't seem like you remembered, but the guy who was a dick to Violet and the one who gave Violet to Gilbert, he's the one in the after credit scene of episode 5 who was mad at Violet after she got off the boat because this "killing machine" was now writing letters that bring people together. He's also Gilberts brother I believe, which isn't a spoiler because they both look similar and in this episode it said both their last names and they were the same.
