April Development Update

Listen up, initiates!

It's been a while since my last development update, but world domination is very time-consuming, but I suppose I can spare a few minutes to update you on my progress.

In the upcoming v1.1 update, I have radically changed how you play through My Demon Friend. I also experimented with a different type of TF route, but I'll most likely scrap it as it's simply too time-consuming for my tastes.

Day & Time System

In previous versions of My Demon Friend, you would only be able to visit certain characters on certain days. In the new v1.1 update, you have the option of choosing from 8 characters every day.

Along with the day system, the time system has been reworked, so you no longer need to visit places at specific times. It's now much simpler with "Morning," "Afternoon," "Night"

Storylines & Gameplay

I've taken all your feedback and improved a variety of storylines across Chapter One. Vivian now has a small introductory event that will pause her content until week 4.

Adam's storyline now activates weekly and automatically.

Sarah's storyline and her events now also activate automatically.

Alex has been reworked and now offers a new storyline for the male MC. 

I have also re-written some dialogue and checked every single line for grammar mistakes and typos, but some may still remain as I'm not perfect.

Along with this, I've rebuilt and re-coded the entire game in the hope that it is much less buggy.

The introduction has also been expanded now to include Week 1. What this essentially means is now it is a lot easier to prevent a bug from appearing as players would skip mindlessly to weeks ahead. Messing up the storyline flow and making it quite a mess.

Now, all the tutorial and introductory elements will be completed, hopefully allowing for much less confusion.

Oh, and a selection of sound effects has been re-added to some scenes in the game, such as the meeting of Lilith and the cult fight.
