Flowers and butterflies (large). Overlay mosaic crochet.

Large blanket 301 by 421 stitches. These patterns are for the overlay mosaic crochet bottom up including the border.

I really like all three of these options. But I especially love the delicate option number three. It seems to me that a crocheted blanket according to this pattern will be incomparable 😊

Later for the same options:

  • interlocking filet crochet bottom up with border in the round
  • overlay mosaic crochet bottom up with envelope border i...

Let's crochet a multicolor pattern together! 41 by 41 filet windows.

I made a video for the interlocking technique. Who's ready to try? It won't be easy 😘😘😘

I have the first part ready for 8 black and 8 multi-colored rows. There will be 5 or 6 parts in total. In the full file, the written pattern takes 6 pages, now I have edited the video of one page.

With the first interlocking part, I release the complete mosaic file. In this file I don't give an explanation of &n...

Fireflies

Crocheted blanket.

This pattern is made according to John Henry Dearle wallpaper pattern.

 https://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O251499/harebell-wallpaper-dearle-john-henry/

The Victoria and Albert Museum graciously allowed me to sell my pattern as I had seriously reworked the original.

For this pattern, I prepared 6 files.

Comparison between two methods for crocheting mosaic in the round

I am preparing the Firefly pattern for publication. This pattern can be crocheted using different techniques.

  • Interlocking filet crochet bottom up
  • Interlocking filet crochet bottom up with the border in the round
  • Interlocking filet crochet in the round
  • Overlay mosaic crochet bottom up
  • Overlay mosaic crochet bottom up with envelope border in the round

Envelope border with waste yarn

A great help when crocheting a back border, especially if the yarn is the same color and it is dark. I use a different color yarn to show the stitches. Crochet sl st above and below the waste yarn. I recommend using a smooth, firm yarn in a contrasting color.

I hope my idea will help you in future projects 😊

Overlay mosaic in the round. The beginning of crocheting, one of the options.

The first light and dark rounds. Video unedited

I crochet a small pattern. You can download the chart and written pattern from this post. You may notice that in the first white round on the short sides I crochet 2 sc and 1 dc. It matches this pattern. Instead, you can crochet 3 sc.

Solid corners, which are called L-corner in the Midsummer Night's Dream pattern, are best crocheted as I show in the video 2022-10-18 21:21:17 +0000 UTC View Post

Chinoiserie pattern

Dear subscribers! Which option do you like better? This is a fragment of a new chinoiserie pattern. I drew the pattern and will work on the writing part. The first option is preferable for Interlocking Filet crochet than the second option. For a mosaic, it seems to me, there are no technical restrictions. Only aesthetic preferences.
