An update on the development of My Demon Friend v0.19 + Preview

I am back with a somewhat disheartening update for the current status of My Demon Friend. I'll start with the bad news first.
The Bad News:
Unfortunately, I recently parted ways with my artist as numerous personal problems occurred in their life, and most recently mine, but I am still 100% committed to seeing this game come to life.
I have learned a lot from this experience, and it will only create a stronger final product. I have even considered the idea of moving to Ren'Py, but I simply do not have the time currently to learn a whole new engine, as this is mostly a passion project for me.
The Good News:
I am currently in talks with a new artist, and I'm hoping we can continue the project. It's feeling good. They seem to understand the story and the project on the same level as me. It's a good synergy. I have learned my lesson, though, and won't share anything until more progress has been made in that area.
I know I promised a beta this month. Sadly the artist situation has disrupted my plans a little, but do not worry, as I have prepared a small preview of the introduction to the game.
I know it's not much, but I wanted to leave you with something before the month ends.
Thank you so much for supporting me this month, I really do hope to share a more extensive look at the upcoming update with you soon, but I hope this suffices for now.
