August/September 2024 Sketches 8 - Hajime Umemiya (Wind Breaker)(Animation)

Here's an animation featuring Hajime Umemiya from Wind Breaker. The idea was suggested by Locemo.

"...Umemiya from Wind Breaker. He's a sweet older brother character who's very strong and very kind, but also has a passion for growing crops. Maybe a crop of his becomes fully grown but is imbued with his strong will and care to the point that when he eats it, it causes his body to swell up and grow larger and stronger than ever before~ Looming over his school of Furin to keep all his cute little brothers safe."

Seems like Umemiya's garden, from all the love and care the young man gave to it, along being able to sense how much he cares about his "little brothers", wanted to give him its own way to say thanks: A big, hearty turnip.

Umemiya, seeing how big and plump this crop looked, felt too tempted...and went ahead to eat it right away! The flavorful, spicy crop filling Umemiya full of energy, along with being quite happy from the delicious taste.

But he didnt know that the garden didn't want to just give him a delicious treat...but also the power to protect his family!

And so Umemiya's body surged in size and strength in the form of constant growth spurts, the nutrients of the turnip filling him up with sheer power! His clothes ripped to shreds, as his garden seemed to shrink right before his very eyes! He had to go ahead and get to a safer place to let his body grow without destroying his garden;;

The next thing Umemiya's little brother saw, was their "big bro" sitting on top of their school, him greeting them all nonchalantly. His sweet, gentle smile contrasted with his gigantic, juggernaut-like body, which made some of them stagger from intimidation. But knowing how reliable he is, somehow, they felt safer around him more than ever before.
