Some people sell the content and some people sell the personality. Theres longevity in personality because people will literally watch you talk about paint dry if you’re interesting enough. James charles depended too much on being a personality for him to make it SO horrible. Like he had to know that at some point people were simply not gonna wanna support a bad person anymore. Like at some point you transition from a stunt queen to just a bad person. I cant say I dont love seeing influencers who did some horrible shit fall off. I remember going back to their channels after a scandal to see if people genuinely stopped watching and they never did. So many people are getting whats been coming to them for a minute. And I think it’s largely because there are just way too many people making content to keep settling for somebody you know you dont feel good about in your spirit!
