Rewatching this cause i'm bored and i remembered there were some good points here! (paragraph incoming!!) I just wanna pick up on your point that if Meg was out of breath like Saweetie was she would be dragged up and down and you're so right. The funny thing is as the biggest Meg thee stallion fan ever, I have literally watched like 98% of all her performances, and I've seen her in concert 2x, and she *does* have times where she's out of breath, which is to be expected bc she's dropping down, twerking, rapping very fast whilst also hyping the crowd up. But see, those moments aren't picked on because Megan has excellent stage presence. If she's out of breath she will put the mic down and start hyping up the audience, she'll turn around and twerk or maybe she'll just bop around on stage. She knows how to maintain the energy needed even when she's not physically rapping and that crowd engagement is really a 10/10. Bear in mind this is mostly personal concerts and festivals. Megan has never dropped the ball at an award show either. If she's gonna dance vigorously, she's gonna just let the backing track take over (like iheart awards 2022) or she might lip some parts while making sure the mic is still ON (billboard awards 2020). If she's gonna rap all the way like plan B then there's no dancing. It's about balance! Saweetie's team needs to learn but I feel like aside from My type and Tap in, she doesn't have many songs that would be good enough on their own π€·πΎββοΈ
