Notice how a ray of pink light appears right before Jinx explodes Vander (at 42:08)? The hue of pink seems to be the exact color of shimmer and as you know Jinx gained superhuman speed after getting that shimmer upgrade in season 1, leaving a pink trail behind her path when zooming. Therefore Jinx most likely faked her own death in order to set Vi free from worrying about her so she can live happily with Caitlyn. Anyway, sad that Arcane has come to an end but we all enjoyed the reactions while it lasted!
