Mid-month check in and upcoming poll
Added 2020-07-18 17:30:45 +0000 UTCI've written 13,254 words of CCH content so far this month and will hit 15,000 by the end of this weekend. I'm still planning to post an update on July 26th.
I've also been working on some extra content that will likely become a stand-alone "CCH 2.5."
I've wanted to write a few lighter scenes because this is my last chance, but they don't really fit in Part 3 because of the higher stakes, pacing, and new setting. Think of this potential CCH 2.5 as a small collection of short, wacky adventures (think sitcom episodes) that take place back during Parts 1 and 2.
The stories would be canon, but they wouldn't affect your stats or anything, and your saved data wouldn't be needed. They are more about roleplaying and team chemistry/banter/humor. And they give you a chance to dive in and "date" any of the main group in these shorter stories, since there's less to wade through.
The first story features the group playing a D&D-like tabletop RPG, so it's a game within a game (how meta).
I want to pair this story with at least two others to form 2.5, with each story being about 10k words. I'm posting a poll in a sec to see what story premises you like the best!
