July is going to be a hot one!

I need to take advantage of my slightly less hectic summer months (no school for kiddos = no projects and no getting up at 5:30) to heat up my work production.
1) Another CCH3 update will go live toward the end of the month. Goal is at least 20,000 new words, to get the total word count (w/o code and character creation) to 65,000 words.
2) Romance is in the air! One of my focuses his month is to write a complete set of romance scenes, which will probably average around 2,000 words each, so that's a chunk of about 12,000 when you include all six possible partners.
3) I'm trying something different this month to see if it helps me speed up. I'm writing directly into google docs for the first 3 weeks of the month, and then spending the last few days of the month to convert it to code for CSIDE. My 'real life' writing group is getting together in very small groups this month, and it's convenient for me to just crank out prose on my chromebook and then convert it all one weekend on my pc at home. It's worth a shot!
4) The Flash Fiction Contest with NYC Midnight launches a week from tonight. It's my main "non-IF writing" outlet this summer designed to help me work on my craft. Plus, your entries are judged and you score points so it's sort of like a tournament! I'm really looking forward to driving myself crazy next weekend!
Enjoy your July and stay safe!
