As you said, it's so nice to see them completing tasks, but not just that. For me, it's nice to see them completing new things they've always wanted to do, but didn't/couldn't and realizing that they CAN do it. You know, it's different when they complete tasks they HAVE to do for work...even though we know that their work IS their life right now....For them to do what they want to do (and for anyone) is, to me, learning to love life in general, and realizing that they are NOT just singers/dancers/songwriters/etc.
