2025-05-29 20:38:45 +0000 UTCSo I work as a sports therapist for a bunch of different indies/njpw USA shows, and have taped up/worked with a bunch of wrestlers currently all over the AEW, NJPW, and WWE rosters. The answer to your KT Tape question is that yes it does actually help. It helps stabilize the muscle that you’re taping up and helps your range of motion. Lots of wrestlers have nagging injuries and lots of pain they’re constantly working through, so heavily KT taping up that spot helps them able to move it better. There’s so many wrestlers everywhere you wouldn’t realize are heavily taping their knees up beneath their ring gear and doing heavy warmups just to get through the match that night. Your favorites are all a wreck.

Their first match is what convinced me to start watching New Japan. Hopefully we get to see them run it back at All In. Once again, thanks to Paul Watson for helping organize these submissions.

Sad that this could be the "forgotten" one due to the length, but man did they still pack it with everything they have! There's still just something about those hour + long matches between these two that just allows the story to develop perfectly. I love it lol

Don't get me wrong, they went straight to the action with this one and I still loved it. There's just something about their hour long matches that added so much more to it for me.

2025-05-28 17:14:57 +0000 UTCSuper excited for tomorrow, it will actually be the first time i have ever watched the next match in full ever since i watched it in real-time years ago! It is still til this day my all-time favorite match ever, so... since i guess you guys have already watched it, i bet you guys would love it so much! Back to the third encounter, no note or commentary since Drew provided enough context. But i would love to point out one thing (that Tally already noticed too) that serves as a little preview for the next bout: Omega finally beat Okada... did he? Ofc both were not totally 100% going into this match but you cannot say Okada was in the same physical condition as Omega. We could easily debate that Omega did not beat him while he was completely healthy, & who could be sure whether or not Okada could kick out of One-Winged Angel if it was not for his neck injury? There's that uncertain factor going into the next bout.
